I am a Professional Mechanical Engineer with many years of experience providing SolidWorks solutions for businesses and organizations of all types. My SolidWorks background started in University, when we were just learning to do drawings and had to convert our handwritten three-view drawings into a real SolidWorks parts.

Once I secured my first engineering job after I got my degree, I felt like traditional work procesess was super inefficient, and there were times when I was frustrated with the software/hardware and wanted to rip my hair out. Lots of processing time seemed to sink into a seemingly endless black hole of time, when I really wanted to be solving real-world engineering problems. I thought that software was supposed to be “smart”!

I eventually left that first job and was hired as a “SolidWorks Specialist” at a SolidWorks re-seller. Over my 6 year tenure there, I continued to hone my SolidWorks skills and worked towards many certifications, eventually acquiring the “Senior Technical Leader” role and managing a team of up to 5 junior technical associates. In this role, I tried to understand which were the greatest challenges that my clients faced.

I had many clients calling and specifically, repeatedly asking for my help. Many clients commented that they felt that I provided real value for them and information they could trust. I offered real solutions and training fast and intuitively, so that my clients began to trust their own skills and abilities, and were able to turn their projects around really quickly. They began to see how “smart” the software could be and what it could do for them in a click of a button.

After several years in the engineering front lines, I started my own practice focusing on SolidWorks because I wanted to provide my clients with personalized service and flexibility beyond what they’ve come to expect from their usual providers. I’m a strong believer in teaching and supporting organizations and individuals so that they feel confident in using the software and succeed in their design objectives.

I have an extensive portfolio of services, including: drafting, designing, automation, rendering, simulation and integration with other software programs. Aside from that, I have years of experience with EPDM implementations, software versioning and upgrading, and new seat installation.
