PROJECT:
P-0031
OVERVIEW:
A LCD Tower on top of a well known Shopping Mall was in need of a replacement Screen. The existing frame needed a 14 Story Weldment structure in order to accommodate assembly access, maintenance and over-all environmental constraints of the new LCD’s. The existing Architectural Tower Frame was modeled up from PDF’s, and initial concepts of the frame had to accommodate unknown downstream dimensional changes. After review with Structural Engineers, the design and cladding scope was finalize.
DRAFTING + DETAILING:
Assembly and Part Production Documentation was produced and included various packages for different purchases. Sub-assembly ‘floor’ drawings includes weldment cut-lists, welding symbols, Bill of Material (BOM), balloons, section and details view along with individual weldment part views. Other packages detailed the cladding, TV screens, and other structural info for on-site confirmation.
